LGBT+ awareness training

Tailor-made for groups and organisations

I am a qualified and experienced trainer, delivering both in-person and online training, tailor-made for groups and organisations. I specialise in delivering LGBTQ+ awareness training to groups, and LGBTQ+ affirmative training to counsellors and wellbeing practitioners.

I have also been a guest speaker on various panels highlighting specific issues such as trans+ wellbeing and wellbeing for LGBTQ+ communities.

I have supported people in England for over 25 years in the areas of domestic abuse, young people’s issues, living with HIV, sexual orientation, sexuality and gender identity (LGBTQ+). This has given me particular areas of specialism that I am passionate about raising awareness of. I have run groups and courses on compassionate mindfulness, living positively with HIV and surviving domestic abuse.

Making an enquiry and booking a session or course

I provide a brief consultation before booking in each session or course. This is so I can tailor each session to the needs of the audience.

Sessions

- are tailor-made for professionals, groups and organisations

- are usually one, two, three or six-hour sessions

- are either online (Zoom or another online video platform) or I can deliver in-person sessions in Norwich or another area, travelling from my Norwich base

- are safe and supportive

- provide quality training with examples from people with lived experience

Fees

Fees are based on a standard core of information and depend on the length of the session and if there is additional research for me to include.

Go to my Portfolio section to view the sessions and courses I’ve delivered in the past.

I have participated in many consultations and service user surveys, so find out more on the Expert by Experience page.
