Further down this page, there are links to my three main services: Counselling, LGBTQ+ Training and Wellbeing workshop services. First, though, here’s some information about how I work and who I work with, plus some client feedback.

Counsellor, trainer and group facilitator 

I have supported people for 30 years in the areas of domestic abuse, young people’s issues, living with HIV, sexual orientation, sexuality and gender identity (LGBTQ+).

​

• I founded It’s All About You Wellbeing in 2008 (which ran until December 2024 when the CIC closed voluntarily).

• I am a counsellor for individuals and couples. I am a Advanced Accredited Gender, Sex and Relationship Diversities Therapist accredited by Pink Therapy).

• I am qualified to teach adults and am an experienced trainer and group facilitator.

• I'm based in Norwich but I also travel to other places in the UK. I work online too and I now see clients all over the world.

• I am self-employed as Max Cohen Wellbeing Services and incorporate all these parts into my business.

Who I work with

I work with young people (18+) and adults on all issues including LGBTQ+ issues, questioning gender identity (trans+, genderqueer, non-binary) and sexual orientation, sexuality, relationships, living with HIV, recovering from domestic abuse, victims of crime and work-related problems such as discrimination.

​For example, I welcome enquiries from:

• people seeking counselling for the first time or those continuing their personal development

• family members or carers whose loved ones are struggling with challenges

• organisations arranging training, consultations or wellbeing workshops
